Linking MS OneDrive File Uploads

Opening your OneDrive

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Navigate to the Microsoft Office homepage: www.office.com
  3. Click “Sign in” and sign into your Microsoft account.

  4. login to the portal by using your uom email address and the relevant password you have set.image.pngimage.png

     

  5. The Microsoft Office home page is displayed. A listing of the available online apps available to you is revealed. Below is a listing of files you’ve recently accessed in your OneDrive cloud storage.image.png
  6. All new files that are created through Office.com are automatically saved to a user's OneDrive. Users can store over 320+ different file types in OneDrive and upload files up to 250 GB in size. Files and folders can be uploaded directly in the browser once signed into OneDrive:

  7. Click “Upload” near the top of the screen, and then click “Files”.

  8. In the file upload dialog box, navigate to the Downloads folder. 
  9. Select “Library Of Congress.jpg” and click Open. 
  10. Notice how the file has appeared in the content pane.

  11. Also,

    notice

    the

    three image.pngblue lines “coming out” of the letter L in the Library. This symbol means that the file has been recently added.
